Littlewood Campus

Littlewood Campus will be open to pupils on Monday 11th September 2017.

This new campus is an Early Years ASD specific provision with places for 18 full-time early year pupils. It is situated in West Howe, close to Springwood Campus, next to the Moore Avenue play park.

A great deal of planning has gone into turning the building, shared with the Development Centre, into an outstanding school for young children with autism.

Littlewood has its own soft play room and sensory room, two well equipped classrooms, a large outdoor play area and outside classroom, a staff room and an office.

We have appointed Emma Symmons as the Lead Teacher and she and a team of teaching assistants will be ready to welcome all the new pupils in September.

We are indebted to Sally Anderson, who was Assistant Headteacher at Springwood Campus until July 2017, as she has been instrumental in the design and project management of this new provision.

There will be an official opening following the October half term and parents, carers and the local community will be invited for a tour and light refreshments.
